I remember when I was in a deep crisis and my friend suggested doing a photo shoot for my website to boost my confidence. Seriously? A photo shoot? Of what? My crisis, my failure? That's how it seemed to me at the time.

I didn't believe her because I thought it would just be another photo shoot where I would once again be disappointed with my appearance, my face, my clothes and my charisma. Where shame prevails and you don't feel comfortable in your own skin. And maybe... maybe with a bit of luck I would get a ‘nice’ photo of myself, maybe not.

But my friend was right: the shoot brought something to the surface: my future self, the woman I always wanted to be. The woman I am today. I was able to experience my beauty and dignity, my strength and sensitivity in different ways. First externally through the result of many beautiful photos and then internally through the process of the shoot. The result: my future self. Agata.
